![]() I just played through the BFME 2 campaign, good and evil, twice each, over the course of 4 days. The campaign for BMFE 2 is so short! Why did they do that?! BFME 1 had an amazing campaign! You could chose your own mission order, you had to play well so your troops carried over, everything was available after essentially the third mission, the character models were beautiful, important cinematics and missions following the movie story line. You get my point and I could go on and on about it. Now BMFE 2 was good, but was a huge flop on its face compared to the first. It had way too short of a campaign which was bland, simple, and held your hand way too much through the whole thing with restrictions on what you are able to build, upgrade, etc. all the way up to pretty much the last level of each campaign choice. Create a hero is cool for the first 3 heroes and then gets real vanilla, real fast. The best thing that they did was try to somewhat resemble the original game with the WotR mode. I never got the opportunity to play RotWK, but I have always considered that as a third game instead of an expansion, so I want to remove that from the conversation.
